… is in the posting queue and will be out today. Thanks to all the readers who dropped me a line with hints, ideas or simply a thank-you note. I appreciate the feedback.
People have asked me about scoring. Two readers apparently even managed to sneak in their scores as I can see on my stats sheet. (I must have two serious hackers among my readers :o)) Anyway, scoring will be activated when Chapter 10 hits the Updated Serials page. I hope that by then, with about one quarter posted, people will have a good understanding of the story and can give it a fair assessment.
Well, that's all for today. Chapter 9 will be posted on Christmas Eve.
… to continue The Return of Thomas Grey. So far, the responses have been numerous and positive, and I thank all the readers who took a few minutes to give me their thoughts, opinions and suggestions. Enjoy!
Over the last 15 months I have been working on a new story in the Anthony Carter Universe. I started it mostly to keep my mind off a rather worrisome diagnosis I had received, and while I unterwent treatment, the story progressed at a nice clip. With the therapy being successful, however, it was back to work for me, with unfinished business piled up in my in-tray. That put a crimp in my writing and the story languished for almost half a year while I was trying to get back into my day job.
Through all this time, Old Rotorhead kept giving me feedback whenever I had finished a chapter or five, encouraging me to keep going and adding his valuable advice.
Now the story stands at 30 chapters, with Nº31 in the draft stage, and I am now confident that I can finish it. Therefore, starting tonight, I start posting chapters. I shall post twice weekly, Sunday and Wednesday, until I will have the story finished. Then I may switch to thrice-weekly postings. Enjoy!
I just finished posting the last revised chapters of Ellen which should be in a better shape now. Enjoy!
I am currently revising Ellen Trilby, having realised that there are/were some continuity errors in it, in particular with regard to the second part of In The Navy. My writing was quite raw back when I first posted the story, and I decided to correct syntax and dialogue while I am at it.
One thing that I realised was that the heroine, Ellen, is Ellen Trilby for only three chapters before she becomes Ellen Wilkes and then Ellen Carter. I decided therefore to simply name the story Ellen.
I am also aware that I promised my readers a new story, The Return of Thomas Grey, and it is still on the front burner. I have 27 chapters ready to post, but still another 6-7 to write.
