How to write sex scene you find actively disgusting?

Soronel ๐Ÿšซ

Hi,

The story I'm working on suddenly needs a two-on-one gay male rape (think something similar to scenes from Shawshank Redemption), and at least part of the time it is from one of the aggressor's POV.

How do you go about writing something you find so viscerally disgusting, and et give it the voice of someone who is having a great time?

You open your cabinet of tolerance and delve right in...

Just write it how you would write something that you like. It's just words at the end of the day, and all you are doing is just transposing your feelings from one scenario to another.

In the scenario you describe, just pretend that you are the aggressor and that it's a woman (or what-ever pleases you. I'm not judging.) in front of you, not a male, and write accordingly. Obviously some things need to change, like there are not going to be breasts or a vagina, but a female backdoor is still going to be the same as a male backdoor. (Sensation wise).

I read a story on SOL which included an anal sex scene in which the female recipient enjoyed having her 'female prostate' stimulated ;-)

I did edit my post to make it clearer, but obviously failed (doh!). From the male protagonist's point of view, entering a female bum is going feel the same as entering a male one.

That's not going to be the same for the receiver, obviously.

Likewise, a blindfolded man is going to struggle in telling the sex of a person giving him a H/job, and possibly a B/job as well.

No, I'm not firing on all cylinders today - you did say from the aggressor's point of view :-(

Did I, can't remember. You may not be firing on all cylinders, but I'm struggling to get the key in the ignition... I think I might just go back to bed, and try re-staring the day... LOL

No, I'm not firing on all cylinders today -

There is coming a day when someone will be confused by this statement thanks to modern vehicles using an active fuel management system to deactivates cylinders so they can conserve fuel.

Perhaps. But I suspect the expression is so hackneyed that it will still be used even when the greens have us shivering in mud huts and cylinders are no longer made.

We still 'dial' the phone, for instance. Many people born after 1970 have no idea what a 'dial' would be in terms of phones. I suspect there are other even older ones, but that one lept immediately to mind.

I taped that โ€” said when I recorded something on my DVR.

Is that true? They've never watched any classic movies?

Exaggerated, but more true than false, probably.

Scary as it sounds the answer is more then likely yes as someone born in the '80s would believe a classic movie being something made in the '60s maybe the '50s. Not many movies actually show people dialing the phone but just talking on it and '80s kids pretty much grew up with cable so why watch that old stuff.

We had a rotary dial into the early nineties. Granted that was because my parents were broke, but still, I doubt we were alone in that regard... I know my grandparents still used theirs long after my parents got rid of ours.

Lots of older TV series show rotary dials in action - 'Murder She Wrote', 'The Twilight Zone' for starters.

Thanks, the suggestion for just writing it worked, I believe I even did a decent job of it.

It ended up being much more about the pair demeaning the victim than striving to get their rocks off. Getting their rocks off was just part of demeaning the poor slob.

I had a scene like that in one of the stories I'm working on. In the end, not only the scene but the antagonist characters involved were removed from the story.

A lot of my own writing I do for catharsis, to get the bad stuff out of my head. That's a big part of why I don't have any stories posted here. I don't want these thoughts associated with me and I don't always bother finishing them, but I need to get them out.

What I would do in your situation is write the scene in whatever way makes me feel better, then transfer to the main story only the parts you need.

For example, you could write it as a dream sequence or with the perpetrator getting caught and beaten up afterwards. You could create a framing story where the attack is themselves being blackmail into doing the act. And so on.

None of this is going into the actual story you're writing, you're just treating the writing of this scene like a piece of scratch paper. I'd even go so far as to start a whole new document that has the side story, then just copy & paste the relevant paragraphs into the main story.

That's why pseudonyms exist...

Personally, I prefer to write such scenes from the victim's viewpoint. This allows to paint the violation in the most negative colours.

Soronel ๐Ÿšซ

@Soronel

It swaps. It starts from the lead attacker yukking it up with his pal in the beginning then goes to the victim. Even worse, they make the victim watch video of them doing the same thing to his year-older sister.

This is basically his absolute low as a human doormat, the incident that firms his resolve to change.

Surely his sister has an extra, more desirable, orifice.

I've reached the age where the Doc asks me to draw a clock face, with the hands pointing to a certain time.

That's to check for signs of early-onset-dementia.

I can't help asking, "does that mean that 4 out of 5 sixth grade kids have dementia?" - because that's pretty much the consensus from teachers polled: 4 out of 5 kids cannot tell you what time it is if all they have is an analog clock.

Draw a rectangle with digital numbers in it, and some small hands-with-pointing-finger facing in from the outside.

You don't say what your requirements are, other than the squick. There's a famous scene in "Deliverance" that matches yours, and still managed an "R" rating.

Dicrostonyx ๐Ÿšซ

@Soronel

There are also several comedy films in the 70s and 80s that imply any number of unseemly acts by setting up the event then turning out the lights and playing various noises, often animal sounds.
