What is a monster? Is it something sneaking, making sounds under your bed, or hiding in the dark of your closet? How would you describe a monster? These are interesting questions, and Todd_d172 gives us a glimpse into one.

If you see his face, you would say he’s a monster. If you fight him, you will know that he’s a monster.

This story deals with a monster, but he is not a monster to his children. His ex-wife mistakenly got tired of his commitment to the army. One year later, she heard about his injuries. She thought it was just a scar, but now she had discovered the monster.

the third story of Tales From The Shack Universe is an incredible series worth reading. ‘Monster’ by ‘Todd_d172’

Just an amazing group of short stories, all tied together with interlocking characters. Well drawn characters. Todd_d172 has created, what seems to be to me an excellent introduction to a much longer story. If not, then enjoy these vignettes of what it means to be an ex very special operator.

On the down side, Todd needs a proofreader. Some typos and spelling errors make for small disruptions in the reading. The stories are one and two SOL pages and one is three pages. The whole thing is a nights read instead of television; much more enjoyable, at least until GoT comes back on. Highly recommended.
