I did not know what I was letting myself in for when I started this.
Witches weaves a story that is part fantasy, history, legend, Old Wives Tales, Superstition and anything else that makes up the illusion of an other world or parallel universe. Throw in a little science fiction and you have it.
A nice little story that follows the Main Character through a portion of his life when he needs the help the most. A pre-pubesent daughter and her growing up. (NOT that kind of help).
A Witch if you wish, a family of them all to help one person and his little girl.
I had fun with this and the translations of the Irish names. I should know more of my own heritage but then again I'm a lazy ass.
