Kathy and Mike walked to school on Wednesday morning. Megan met them along their route. The three teens greeted one another as they continued to walk along the side of the road.

"What are you two doing after school?" Megan said.

"Why?"

The two girls went to their classes. At lunch, Kathy looked for Eddy. She sat at her boyfriend's table and smiled at him. Eddy asked his friends to leave so he could be alone with Kathy.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe we'll get something to eat and go to a movie or something. I'll talk to Phil and see what he wants to do," Eddy said.

Kathy nodded. Smiling, she felt she knew what Phil wanted to do. If she was correct, Phil and Megan would want to park and make out. That was fine with her.

"What are you doing after school?" Eddy asked.

"Megan and I are going to the park to watch my brother play baseball," Kathy replied.

The teens left the park. Kathy and Mike rode their bikes home, putting them in the garage before going into the house. They said hi to their parents and then went to their rooms. Mike headed for the bathroom to shower while Kathy started on her homework.

After dinner, Kathy and Mandy washed the dishes. Their mom sat at the table, talking to their father. When they finished, Mandy asked if she could go to Suzie's house. Joanne told her that she needed to do her homework. Mandy nodded and went to her room.

"Um, Mom, Dad, I need to talk to you for a few minutes," Kathy said. She sat at the table across from her parents.

"Well, it's about, um, Mandy. Mike and I weren't completely honest when we talked the other day," Kathy said in a low voice.

"What do you mean, Kathy," Joanne said.

"Well, Mandy is sort of fooling around with Suzie and Tommy. She said they haven't gone all the way or anything, but Mandy told me she wants to. I told her she should wait because she's too young," Kathy said.
